WASHINGTON, DC — Gunfire rang out in Southeast early Saturday morning, and now investigators are asking for help identifying suspects captured on surveillance footage near the scene.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:36 a.m. on July 12 in the 1200 block of G Street SE. First District officers responded to reports of gunshots and located evidence of a shooting. No injuries were reported.

Images of the suspects were recorded by surveillance cameras in the area. Police have not yet released the identities of those involved and are urging the public to assist in the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
