DC duo nabbed in armed ATM kidnapping case

WASHINGTON, DC — Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a violent armed kidnapping that took place in Northeast in May, during which the victim was assaulted, abducted, and forced to withdraw money from multiple ATMs.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:28 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, in the 200 block of K Street NE. According to police, two suspects approached the victim, physically assaulted them, and forced them into a vehicle. The suspects then drove the victim to several ATM locations and demanded they withdraw cash.
