SPRING TOWNSHIP, PA — One lucky player hit the jackpot in Thursday night’s Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing, winning $400,000 with a ticket sold at a Weis Markets location in Berks County.

The ticket, sold at 1112 West Wyomissing Boulevard in Spring Township, matched all five numbers drawn on July 17: 5, 15, 21, 23, and 35. The retailer earns a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials said the prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. The identity of the winner will not be made public until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated.

In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 12,100 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won prizes in the same drawing.
