Match 6 lottery ticket sold in Allegheny County hits $950K jackpot
KENNEDY TOWNSHIP, PA — One Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a ticket worth nearly $1 million after correctly matching all six numbers in Thursday night’s Match 6 Lotto drawing, officials announced Friday.
The jackpot-winning ticket, worth $950,000 before taxes, was sold at Super Mart Convenience Store, located at 1761 Pine Hollow Road in Kennedy Township, Allegheny County. The winning numbers for the October 9 drawing were 5-19-21-22-38-43.
The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the jackpot ticket.
Lottery officials said the winner has not yet come forward. Prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date, and tickets purchased in-store should be signed immediately to protect ownership. Online wins are automatically processed and credited to the player’s account after validation.
In addition to the jackpot win, more than 35,700 other Match 6 tickets also won prizes across the state. The Pennsylvania Lottery continues to encourage players to check every ticket, every time, to avoid missing a potential prize.
Players may file prize claims online or in person. More information about claiming prizes, lottery rules, and ticket purchasing options is available at palottery.com.
