Crawford County Powerball ticket wins $250K with Power Play as jackpot climbs
MIDDLETOWN, PA — A Powerball ticket worth $250,000 was sold in Crawford County for Monday night’s drawing, thanks to the Power Play option boosting a $50,000 win fivefold.
The winning ticket matched four of the five white balls — 7, 33, 50, 57, 66 — and the red Powerball 23. Because the player added the $1 Power Play option and the multiplier drawn was five, the ticket’s prize increased to $250,000.
The ticket was sold at Kwik Fill, located at 21268 Blooming Valley Road in West Mead Township. The retailer receives a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The winner has one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize. The Pennsylvania Lottery will confirm the identity of the winner only after the ticket is validated and the claim is processed.
Monday’s Powerball drawing also produced over 33,500 other winning tickets in Pennsylvania, with more than 7,700 of those purchased with Power Play.
The Powerball jackpot now stands at an estimated $593 million annuity, or $277.6 million in cash, for the next drawing on Wednesday.
