Fairlawn Powerball player wins $100K prize with 2x Power Play boost
Cleveland, OH – A Powerball ticket purchased at a Fairlawn convenience store hit big over the weekend, earning a $100,000 prize in the Saturday, December 27 drawing, Ohio Lottery officials confirmed.
The winning ticket was sold at Fairlawn Foodmart, located at 3110 W Market Street. It matched four out of the five white balls plus the red Powerball — a $50,000 prize that was doubled to $100,000 thanks to the 2x Power Play option.
The odds of matching that combination in Powerball are approximately 1 in 913,129.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., with ticket sales closing at 10:00 p.m. The current estimated jackpot sits at $33 million.
