Police launch homicide investigation after late-night discovery
BALTIMORE, Md. — A late-night report of an unresponsive person in downtown Baltimore ended with the discovery of a man suffering from a fatal stab wound, prompting a homicide investigation.
Central District officers responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. Saturday to the 300 block of West Saratoga Street.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified adult man suffering from an apparent stab wound to the body.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.
Baltimore Police homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal stabbing.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
