LAKEWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ – A home invasion suspect was caught ‘red-handed’ Saturday morning after he attempted to break into a home. Police were able to quickly identify the suspect, who had a serious slash on his hand and was losing blood fast. Police applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.
He was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment before being processed and charged with burglary and illegal possession of a weapon used to commit burglary.
