WASHINGTON, D.C. – A young woman was shot Wednesday night in Southeast, D.C. last night. She did not survive.
Shortly before midnight, MPD officers arrived at the 1200 Block of Valley Avenue to investigate a report of gunshots. Officers found 21-year-old Alison Cienfuegos-Vasquez, of Maryland suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
