Man Kidnapped at Gunpoint in D.C, Suspects Caught on Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Fifth District is appealing to the public for help in identifying suspects involved in an armed kidnapping. The incident took place in the 500 block of New York Avenue in Northeast D.C.

The kidnapping occurred early Tuesday morning, around 4:23 a.m. The suspects, armed with handguns, confronted the victim and forcibly took the victim’s vehicle keys. They then coerced the victim into their vehicle, driving around while stealing the victim’s belongings. After the ordeal, the victim was released, and the suspects fled in the stolen vehicle. The vehicle has since been recovered.

Surveillance cameras in the area captured images of the suspects.
