Man Fatally Stabbed In D.C.

Washington, D.C. – Detectives from the D.C. Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch are currently investigating a fatal stabbing incident that occurred in Northeast Washington, D.C., resulting in the death of a man on Saturday afternoon. The violent episode has sparked an intensive investigation by local authorities.

At around 3:19 p.m., police were dispatched to the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Bladensburg Road following reports of a stabbing. Upon their arrival, officers found a male victim with a stab wound. Despite immediate transport to a local hospital and exhaustive life-saving efforts, the victim was ultimately pronounced dead.

The deceased has been identified as 53-year-old Christopher King, who was of no fixed address. D.C. Metro Police Department will appeal to the public for information to assist their investigation. Witnesses or anyone who knows this case can contact the police at 202-727-9099.
