Lucky Powerball ticket sold at Annapolis Dash In scores $50K prize
ANNAPOLIS, MD — A Powerball player who stopped at an Annapolis convenience store is holding a ticket worth $50,000 after matching four white balls and the Powerball in Wednesday night’s drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at the Dash-In convenience store at 2575 Riva Road in Annapolis, according to Maryland Lottery officials.
Powerball numbers for the Wednesday, May 6 drawing were 18, 27, 51, 65, 68, with a Powerball of 05.
The ticket matched four of the first five numbers along with the red Powerball to secure the third-tier prize worth $50K.
Lottery officials are urging the winner to sign the back of the ticket and store it in a secure location. Winners have 182 days to claim prizes.
Prizes exceeding $25K must be claimed through Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore either by mail or in person with an appointment.
