Lucky Bergen County lottery player cashes in $172K on Quick Draw ticket

RIDGEFIELD, NJ — A Bergen County lottery player is celebrating a six-figure payday after a Quick Draw ticket purchased Thursday morning hit for more than $172K, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

The winning ticket was sold at Sweet Shop located at 549 Shaler Boulevard in Ridgefield.

Lottery officials said the player won $172,485 by claiming 30% of the Quick Draw Progressive jackpot.

Quick Draw Progressive tickets are available at New Jersey Lottery retailers statewide and automatically include jackpot eligibility at no additional cost.

Each ticket contains nine randomly selected jackpot numbers ranging from 01 to 80. Players win a portion of the rolling jackpot if all nine numbers match during eligible Quick Draw drawings.

The amount won depends on the wager placed per draw. Higher wagers qualify for larger portions of the jackpot.

Following the Bergen County win, the estimated Quick Draw Progressive jackpot climbed to more than $404K.
