Massive 4-alarm fire guts Bronx building housing deli and apartments no injuries reported
BRONX, NY – More than 200 firefighters battled a raging four-alarm blaze early Wednesday morning that tore through a three-story building in the Bronx, destroying a deli, residential units, and part of a neighboring tire shop.
The fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. at 700 Adee Avenue and quickly engulfed all three floors of the structure. According to FDNY officials, the building housed a deli on the first floor with two apartments above, and was directly connected to a tire shop on its right side.

When fire crews arrived, they encountered intense flames consuming the entire building and spreading into the adjacent business. Due to the volume of fire and concerns about structural stability, firefighters shifted from interior operations to an exterior attack, deploying multiple tower ladders and heavy water streams.
Chief of Fire Operations Kevin Woods confirmed that second, third, and fourth alarms were called in rapid succession as the fire escalated. The blaze was brought under control shortly after 7 a.m.

Despite the extensive destruction, no injuries were reported among civilians or emergency personnel. FDNY Fire Marshals are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
