Brooklyn robbery unfolds inside moving subway train

Brooklyn, NY – A subway ride turned violent when a man was punched repeatedly and robbed by a group of attackers inside a train at a busy Brooklyn station.

The incident occurred Wednesday, April 29, at approximately 5:35 p.m. aboard a northbound “5” train at the Church Avenue station, according to NYPD Crimestoppers.

Police said the 25-year-old victim was approached by three unidentified individuals who then assaulted him, striking him multiple times in the face.

During the attack, the suspects forcibly removed the victim’s backpack before fleeing the scene.

Authorities said the group exited the area and ran southbound on Nostrand Avenue. No arrests have been made, and the suspects remain unidentified.

The victim’s condition has not been disclosed.
