One lucky Match 6 ticket turns ordinary stop into millionaire-making moment
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Someone in Bucks County may be carrying a multimillion-dollar secret after a single lottery ticket sold at a neighborhood deli matched every number needed to capture a massive $3.1 million Pennsylvania Lottery jackpot.
The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that a jackpot-winning Match 6 Lotto ticket from the Wednesday, May 27 drawing was sold at Lucky 7 Deli, located at 3900 New Falls Road in Bristol Township.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers drawn: 7, 15, 17, 29, 40, and 48.
The jackpot prize is worth $3.1 million before applicable withholdings.
Lottery officials said the winner has not yet come forward, and winners remain unknown until tickets are validated and prizes are officially claimed.
Lucky 7 Deli will receive a $10K bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The Pennsylvania Lottery reported that more than 73,500 additional Match 6 Lotto tickets also won prizes in the same drawing.
Players have one year from the drawing date to claim Match 6 Lotto prizes.
Lottery officials recommend that anyone holding a winning ticket immediately sign the back of it and store it in a secure location until it can be claimed.
