Jury Convicts Mamadou Kallie of First-Degree Murder
**West Chester, PA** – Mamadou Kallie has been convicted by a jury on multiple charges, including three counts of First-Degree Murder. The conviction was announced by the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. Kallie’s sentencing will be determined at a later date with a minimum sentence of life imprisonment.
The trial, lasting six days, presented evidence and testimony indicating that Kallie murdered his girlfriend, Tiara Rodriguez-Diaz, on May 29, 2022, in the presence of their one-year-old son. Additionally, he killed Kimberly Ortiz-Zayas, who was carrying his unborn child, through multiple gunshots.
District Attorney Christopher de Barrena-Sarobe expressed that the violent act is hard to comprehend. He attributed the successful conviction to the cooperation of law enforcement, the prosecution team’s effort, and the jury’s dedication, ensuring Kallie’s life sentence.
Valley Township Police Chief Glenn Eckman offered thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims, expressing hope for some closure post-trial. Chester County Detectives led the investigation with support from local police departments. First Assistant District Attorney Erin O’Brien and Assistant District Attorney Annie
Allegheny County Man Sentenced for Child Sexual Abuse
**HARRISBURG, PA** – An Allegheny County man has received a prison sentence ranging from 12 to 30 years for the repeated sexual abuse of two children, committed between 2004 and 2006. Attorney General Dave Sunday announced the sentence on Thursday.
Marc Brown, 67, was sentenced in Allegheny County Court following his guilty plea to charges including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, and endangering the welfare of children. These charges are part of a broader investigation by the 49th Statewide Investigating Grand Jury, which has reviewed testimony relating to various members of Jehovah’s Witnesses accused of child sexual abuse.
Brown was an active member of the congregation at the time of the offenses and abused the children, with whom he was acquainted, on numerous occasions. Testimonies presented during the proceedings confirmed that Brown molested the children, watched them shower, and entered their bedroom at night to assault them.
“This defendant ultimately could not escape accountability for heinous conduct perpetrated years ago, thanks to the hard work of investigators and the grand jurors, and the bravery of the survivors,” stated Attorney General

Montgomery County Man Sentenced for Home Improvement Fraud
**Harrisburg, PA** – Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that Jared Wyllie, 48, from Montgomery County, was sentenced to three to six years in state prison alongside two years of probation for failing to complete home improvement work. The victims collectively lost more than $156,000 due to his actions, and Wyllie has been ordered to pay this amount back in restitution.
An investigation revealed that between 2021 and 2022, Wyllie operated under the business name PROjex, LLC. He entered into contracts with four different homeowners, taking upfront payments while misusing another contractor’s license information. Several victims testified in court, including one who had to sell their home at a loss after paying over $100,000 for incomplete repairs.
Wyllie falsely claimed to be a licensed and registered contractor but had no contractor number under his name or business. The first complaints reported substandard repairs, with losses exceeding $16,400. Another victim contracted him for roof repairs costing $27,900.10, but Wyllie only installed a plastic tarp after promising roof repairs and collecting additional funds.
Attorney General Sunday emphasized the importance of consumers conducting research before hiring
