Cleveland, OH — A winning lottery ticket sold in Cleveland has resulted in a $5M prize, now claimed by a trust that opted for long-term annual payments.

The PRMPJ Trust, represented by an attorney, claimed the top prize from the Ohio Lottery’s Ultimate $5,000,000 Scratch-Off game. The prize will be paid out as $200,000 per year over 25 years.

After required state and federal taxes, lottery officials said the total payout amounts to $3,662,500.

The winning ticket was purchased at AJ’s Drive Thru on St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland.

The $50 scratch-off game offers top prizes of $5M, with overall odds of winning any prize at approximately 1 in 3.61. As of April 30, three top prizes remain unclaimed.

Lottery proceeds contribute to education funding across Ohio.
