$570K jackpot ticket sold at Columbia 7 Eleven sparks lottery buzz
Columbia, MD — A single ticket purchased at a Howard County convenience store has turned into a $570,000 payday after hitting all numbers in the latest Multi-Match drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 8251 Snowden River Parkway for the April 16 drawing, according to Maryland Lottery officials.
The numbers drawn were 2, 6, 8, 12, 29, and 38, securing the $570,000 jackpot prize.
The winner has the option to receive the full prize as a 25-year annuity or take an estimated $250,000 lump sum before taxes.
The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Officials said this marks the second Multi-Match jackpot win of the year. A previous $1.7 million-winning ticket from a March drawing remains unclaimed.
Winners have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
