WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department has arrested a woman in connection with the July 30th homicide of a man in Northwest, D.C.
The police responded to a shooting on the 100 block of Farragut Street at around 2:43 p.m. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. The victim was identified as 46-year-old Donald B. Childs of Northwest, D.C.
Yesterday, 29-year-old Lesha Marks of Bowie, Maryland, was arrested. She is charged with Premeditated First Degree Murder While Armed in relation to the death of Mr. Childs.
