Barre, MA — A young driver is facing multiple felony charges after a crash that left two passengers dead, bringing the case into court months after the fatal incident.

Faith O’Rourke, 20, of North Brookfield, was arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on charges tied to a December 26 crash on Hubbardston Road. Prosecutors said the single-vehicle crash resulted in the deaths of two passengers.

The victims were identified as 20-year-old Connor Post and 19-year-old Michael Publicover.

O’Rourke faces multiple charges, including involuntary manslaughter, manslaughter by motor vehicle, motor vehicle homicide by reckless operation, and motor vehicle homicide while operating under the influence.

Bail was set at $5,000 with conditions that she avoid contact with victims’ families and witnesses, refrain from driving, remain alcohol-free, and submit to random screenings.

Authorities said the BMW she was driving left the roadway, leading to the fatal crash.

The investigation remains ongoing involving Barre Police, Massachusetts State Police detectives, and crash reconstruction teams.
