A 31-year-old Elm City man faces felony charges after authorities say an impaired driving crash in Wilson County left one child dead and another seriously injured.
A Wilson County man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash that killed a child and seriously injured another child earlier this year, according to court documents.
Jonathan Michael Hardison, 31, of Elm City, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony death by vehicle and felony serious injury by vehicle stemming from a crash that occurred on SR 1418 in Wilson County.

Investigators allege that Hardison was operating a vehicle while impaired on or about April 27 when the crash occurred. Authorities contend the alleged impaired driving offense was the proximate cause of the collision.
