Sandra P. of Bethel claimed the top prize on June 12 after purchasing the winning ticket at the Big Y Market located in the heart of town. The CA$HWORD game is part of the Connecticut Lottery’s FAST PLAY series, which offers instant win opportunities without the need for scratching or waiting for a draw.

The $30,000 prize is one of the highest payouts available on the $3 CA$HWORD ticket.
