Java Moon Cafe to reopen near former Jackson location with new Millstone site after 14 years

Popular eatery plans return at Tommy’s Inn, targeting reopening later this year

Millstone, NJ – While everything seems to be changing for the worse in Jackson Township, one thing is going back to the way things used to be in an ever-changing community.

Java Moon Cafe is preparing to return to the local dining scene, with plans to reopen at a new location near its former Jackson Township site. The announcement, shared by the business on social media, confirms the cafe will operate out of Tommy’s Inn in neighboring Millstone.

The cafe, which previously served the Jackson area, indicated the new location will bring back familiar offerings while introducing an updated space. In a public post, the business stated, “The new location of Java Moon will be at Tommy’s Inn, Millstone. We are looking forward to serving the lovely community in which we have previously served.”

An exact opening date has not been finalized, though the owners suggested a broad timeline spanning the coming months. “Everything is coming together so we are on track for sometime in June, July, August, September, October, November lol,” the post reads. “I will post a date as soon as that is established.”

The new site at Tommy’s Inn is described as smaller than the previous cafe, though plans are underway to expand seating. The business noted, “the new tommys, yes, the tiny one, but don’t worry, tiny cafe means big food and good food,” adding that renovations will help accommodate more customers.

The cafe also confirmed that familiar menu items will return, including a salad tied to a longtime staff member. “Susan will be working a lot… and your salad will always be available,” the post states. “We will call it the Sensibello salad, it will be a hit.”
