Powerball ticket sold on Long Island hits $50K prize in latest drawing
Bethpage, NY — A single lottery ticket sold on Long Island has landed a $50,000 prize following the latest Powerball drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Kings Plainedge C Store, located at 100 Hicksville Road in Bethpage, for the April 29 drawing.
Lottery officials said the ticket matched enough numbers to secure the game’s third-tier prize.
Powerball drawings are held three times a week, with numbers selected from two separate pools — one for the white balls and one for the Powerball.
The identity of the winner has not been released.
