BALTIMORE, MD — Early yesterday morning, a male victim was critically injured in a shooting incident reported as a burglary on Madison Avenue in Baltimore’s Western District.
Officers who arrived at the scene around 2:58 a.m., at the 2600 block of Madison Avenue, found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Western District detectives have taken charge of the investigation, urging anyone with information about the incident to reach out to them directly or contact Metro Crime Stoppers. The community is called upon to assist in providing any details that might help in solving this violent crime.
