Maryland man arrested with cache of 3d-printed ghost guns and assault weapons — Police at Crime Scene

ST. MARY’S COUNTY, MD — A Maryland man wanted for fleeing a domestic assault scene was arrested at his home, where detectives uncovered a massive weapons cache, including 3D-printed ghost guns, assault rifles, and other firearms, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday.

Jerod Adam Taylor, 39, was taken into custody on November 12 at his residence in Lexington Park. Deputies initially sought Taylor after he allegedly fled from a domestic incident at a home in the 20000 block of Goddard Road on Friday.

When detectives searched his property, they seized 80 firearms, including multiple 3D-printed ghost guns, an AK-47, a fully-automatic rifle, a short-barreled rifle, over 1,300 rounds of ammunition, and body armor.

Taylor was arrested without incident and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown, where he is awaiting a bond hearing. Authorities continue to investigate the source of the weapons and any potential connections to other criminal activities.
