Two teens arrested after Massachusetts Avenue shooting leaves juvenile wounded

WASHINGTON, DC – A Friday afternoon shooting along a busy Northeast corridor ended with two juvenile suspects in custody after a coordinated response by multiple law enforcement agencies, following gunfire that left a 15-year-old boy injured.

The shooting occurred around 4:12 p.m. in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northeast, where officers responding to reports of gunfire found a juvenile male conscious and breathing with a gunshot wound. DC Fire and EMS transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
