Ocean County Lucky 7 Deli delivers million-dollar scratch-off win

Ocean County man hits $1 million jackpot on $10 scratch-off at Lakehurst deli

TRENTON, NJ – A Lakehurst convenience store just sold its luckiest ticket yet after a $10 scratch-off purchased last week turned into a $1 million jackpot for an Ocean County player.

The winning ticket was part of the newly released $1,000,000 Spectacular Scratch-Off game, which launched on November 5. It was purchased at Lucky 7 Deli, located at 408 Route 70 in Lakehurst, and was officially reported as sold on Monday.

This marks the first of only four top prizes available in the game’s current version, making the win a rare hit just weeks after the ticket series went live.

The New Jersey Lottery, which has been operating since 1970, confirmed the prize and noted that scratch-offs remain a key driver in lottery participation across the state. The lottery has contributed nearly $34.7 billion to public programs, with much of the revenue now dedicated to supporting the public employee pension system through a 30-year funding agreement enacted in 2017.

With three top prizes still unclaimed, players across the state are eyeing remaining $1,000,000 Spectacular tickets as the rush continues at retail locations.
