BROOKLYN, N.Y. – An off-duty New York City Police Department school safety agent was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn and charged with forcible touching and assault, officials said.

Police identified the employee as Anthony Williams, 56, who was taken into custody at approximately 12:21 p.m. on December 16 within the confines of the 66th Precinct.

The NYPD confirmed the charges of forcible touching and assault against Williams but did not release further details regarding the incident that led to the arrest.
