$25,000 Pick 5 lottery ticket sold in Warrensville Heights

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, OH – A Highland Heights resident is celebrating a $25,000 win after hitting big on the Ohio Lottery’s Pick 5 game, officials confirmed Thursday.

The winning ticket was sold at Emery Convenient Food Mart, located at 21925 Emery Road in Warrensville Heights. After state and federal tax withholdings totaling 27.125%, the winner will receive $18,218.75.

Pick 5 drawings are held twice daily at 12:29 p.m. and 7:29 p.m., seven days a week. Saturday evening drawings are featured during the Ohio Lottery’s Cash Explosion® television show, which airs from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This win adds to a long list of payouts from the Ohio Lottery, which has contributed over $34 billion to education across the state since 1974.
