TRENTON, NJ – The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred in Trenton early Friday morning that left one victim dead, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported.
At approximately 12:53 a.m., on September 17, 2021, Trenton police were dispatched to a home on Race Street on a report of an unresponsive male. Responding officers located a 37-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds, identified as Jeff Charles of Trenton, NJ. He was pronounced deceased.
