BALTIMORE, MD — Authorities are investigating a report of a rape involving a juvenile victim that occurred in August but was reported to police on December 1.

Officers responded to Francis Noel Way at approximately 8:47 p.m. on Sunday after the victim came forward. According to police, the juvenile did not report the assault earlier due to threats from the suspect involving a video allegedly taken during the incident.

The suspect is accused of displaying the video on Instagram, further deterring the victim from reporting the crime.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) has been notified, and Child Protective Services (CPS) has been provided with a copy of the report.
