During one such incident, two men, dressed in dark clothing, were captured on a doorbell camera removing copper downspouts from a residence. The incident occurred at approximately 4:32 AM on Sunday in the 2400 block of Hanover Avenue.

Detectives request public assistance in identifying the individuals involved. They urge homeowners to check their doorbell or home surveillance footage and reach out if they notice any suspicious activity.

**Columbus, OH** – The Columbus Division of Police is requesting assistance from the public in identifying an individual involved in fraud incidents.

On October 9, a victim was misled by a computer message that urged her to contact a fake Microsoft support number. Believing she had contacted Microsoft, the victim was falsely informed that her checking account was being targeted by hackers. She was instructed to withdraw funds to protect her account, which the suspect then collected from her home. Following a second successful scam attempt, the suspect obtained additional money directly from the victim’s residence. The police emphasize that the perpetrator is not affiliated with Microsoft.

Utica Police Charge Suspect in Criminal Mischief Case

**Utica, NY** – The Utica Police Department investigated a criminal mischief incident reported in late August where a surveillance camera recorded an individual causing damage to a property on the 1200 block of Kemble Street. The damages were estimated to exceed $6,500.

Following the incident, the case was handed over to the Criminal Investigations Division. With support from the Mohawk Valley Crime Analysis Center and New York State Parole, a suspect was successfully identified.

On Tuesday, police located and arrested the suspect, Ryan Anderson, 53, from Utica. Anderson has been charged with criminal mischief in the second degree.
