Eight-Vehicle Crash in Lakewood Investigated

**Lakewood, NJ** – On March 7, 2025, at approximately 5:50 a.m., a multiple-vehicle crash occurred on Route 70 and Airport Road. Officers from the Lakewood Township Police Department responded to the scene and determined that eight vehicles were involved in the crash.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, with assistance from other agencies, conducted a thorough investigation. It was revealed that a Cadillac CT5 Blackwing was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane at a high speed. The Cadillac collided head-on with a Mazda CX5, then struck additional vehicles before coming to rest, subsequently catching fire.

The driver of the Cadillac was extracted and airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, before being transported to Weill Cornell Medicine Burn Center in New York City, where he remains in critical condition. The driver of the Mazda was also airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center and is in critical condition. The drivers of the remaining vehicles were not injured.

The crash is under investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Lakewood Township Police Department, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit.

Shooting Incident Investigation in Towson

**Towson, MD** – Early on Friday, just before 1:40 a.m., Baltimore County Police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual in the 8100 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, 21286. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 43-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital and is in serious condition.

Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department are actively investigating this shooting. They are urging anyone with relevant information to reach out via the contact number 410-307-2020.

Juvenile in Serious Condition After Dirt Bike Crash

**Holland Township, NJ** – A 15-year-old remains in serious condition at Leigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pennsylvania, following a dirt bike crash on Thursday, October 17th. The collision occurred around 7:05 p.m. on Milford Warren Glen Road when the dirt bike collided with a pickup truck driven by a 51-year-old Milford resident.

The dirt bike was not equipped with lights or reflectors and was not designed for road use. Additionally, the 15-year-old operator was not licensed to operate a motorcycle. Members of the Holland Township Police Department, Holland Township Fire Company, and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office responded to the incident.

The crash is under investigation by the Holland Township Police Department and the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. No charges have been filed at this time.
