Young woman fights back after devastating Beachwood accident
Beachwood, NJ — A 19-year-old woman’s life changed in an instant after she was struck by a vehicle earlier this month, leaving her facing multiple surgeries and a lengthy recovery process.
Adrianna was hit by a car on April 11 near Atlantic City Boulevard and Halliard Avenue, according to information shared by her family. She sustained serious injuries and has already undergone two surgeries on her legs.
Family members said she remains in stable condition but faces a prolonged rehabilitation process that will include learning to walk again and regaining strength. Additional medical procedures may be required.
Her parents and grandparents have been providing around-the-clock care as she begins recovery.
Before the crash, Adrianna was active in her community and family life, often spending time riding her quad, going to the beach, and attending car shows. She also helped care for her two younger sisters, regularly driving them to activities.
A fundraising campaign has been launched to help cover medical and recovery-related expenses as she continues treatment.
