A 37-year-old man was stabbed in the shoulder after being attacked by three suspects following a dispute on West 125th Street, according to the NYPD.
Police are searching for three unidentified individuals wanted in connection with a violent assault that left a man injured in Manhattan earlier this week.
The attack happened around 6:50 p.m. Wednesday in front of 511 West 125th Street within the confines of the NYPD’s 26th Precinct. Authorities said a 37-year-old man became involved in a verbal dispute with the three suspects before the confrontation turned physical.
Victim punched, kicked and stabbed
According to NYPD Crimestoppers, the suspects punched and kicked the victim during the altercation before one of them stabbed him in the right shoulder with a sharp object.
Investigators have not released information about the victim’s condition. No arrests have been announced as of Friday evening.
“The individuals punched and kicked the victim and stabbed him in the right shoulder with a sharp object,” NYPD Crimestoppers said in a public alert.
Suspects fled east on 125th Street
After the attack, the three suspects fled the scene on foot, traveling eastbound on West 125th Street, police said.
Authorities have not released descriptions of the suspects and are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
