Three lucky Powerball players matched enough numbers to score $50,000 prizes in Saturday night’s drawing
ALBANY, N.Y. — Three New York Lottery players are holding winning Powerball tickets worth $50,000 each after matching four white balls and the Powerball in Saturday night’s drawing.
The New York Lottery announced that third-prize-winning tickets were sold in the Bronx, Newburgh and Schenectady for the June 13 Powerball drawing.
The winning tickets were purchased at:
- AMG Retail I LLC AMG #209, 3276 Jerome Ave., Bronx
- Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Road, Newburgh
- Stewart’s Shops #182, 100 S. Brandywine Ave., Schenectady
Each ticket is worth $50,000.
Lottery officials did not release information about the winners, and the prizes remain unclaimed.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
Players select numbers from a field of one to 69, while the Powerball is drawn separately from a field of one to 26.
The New York Lottery remains the largest and most profitable lottery in North America and contributed $3.6 billion to public education during fiscal year 2024-2025, according to lottery officials.
Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
