NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is investigating an assault incident that took place in the city on Friday, at approximately 08:05 am.
A 32-year-old female victim was exiting a building near Franklin Avenue and Bergen Street when she was attacked by two individuals. The perpetrators stabbed her multiple times before fleeing the scene. They were last seen heading northbound on Franklin Avenue.
The victim was taken to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital by EMS and is reported to be in stable condition.
The Police Department is currently working on identifying the two suspects involved, one male and one female, both described as having a dark complexion and heavy build.
They are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline.
