WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Sixth District Crime Suppression Team has successfully apprehended two suspects wanted in relation to a U.S. District Court Indictment. Keion Brown, 20, and Jovan Williams, 18, both from Northwest, DC, were arrested on Friday.
Accompanying Brown and Williams during the arrest was a 16-year-old juvenile male from Maryland. All three were charged with Carrying a Pistol Without a License and various offenses, including armed robbery and armed carjacking, occurring at different locations in DC. Additionally, Williams was detained in connection with an outstanding arrest warrant from Maryland.
This operation follows a significant crackdown on June 27th, where law enforcement agencies, including the MPD, DEA, ATF, FBI, and IRS-CI, arrested 12 members of the “Kennedy Street Crew” on charges related to drug trafficking, possession of firearms, and money laundering.
Police are now seeking information on two additional suspects, Warren Lawrence Fields, III, 24, of Oxon Hill, MD, and Juwan Demetrius Clark, 27, of Northwest, DC. Both are wanted under a U.S. District Court indictment for charges similar to those of the “Kennedy Street Crew.”
A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for violent crimes in the District of Columbia.
