Jackson Township to host first ever Chanukah car parade and drive-in menorah lighting

by Charlie Dwyer

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Each year, the Township of Jackson hosts a menorah lighting at town hall, but this year things will be different due to COVID-19.  On Sunday, December 13th, the Chabad of Jackson is hosting a Chanukah car parade and drive-in menorah lighting at Prospect Plaza at 265 S. New Prospect Road.   The parade begins at 4 pm.  Residents are encouraged to top your car with a menorah or a flag and it will drive by local senior centers where residents will be watching from their windows.   At 5 pm, the parade will end at Prospect Plaza for a menorah lighting ceremony where individually wrapped Chanukah goodies will be handed along with crafts and prizes for the children.

Due to COVID-19, RSVP is required to attend. Please see flyer below.
