WASHINGTON, DC – Former First Lady Hillary Clinton has asked Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to open a 9/11 style investigation into Donald Trump’s ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Congress needs to establish an investigative body like the 9/11 Commission to determine Trump’s ties to Putin so we can repair the damage to our national security and prevent a puppet from occupying the presidency ever again,” Clinton said on Monday.
“All roads lead to Putin,” Pelosi said. “I don’t know what Putin has on him politically, financially, or personally, but what happened last week was a gift to Putin.”
Democrats continue pushing Russian Collusion although the Mueller Report concluded that the investigation did not find sufficient evidence that the campaign “coordinated or conspired with the Russian government in its election-interference activities”.
