MANAHAWKIN, NJ – The Stafford Township Police Department issued a warning on Friday for residents to clear the streets of obstructions, including vehicles, basketball hoops, garbage cans, boats and other objects in the roadway.

“Reminder from Stafford Township Department of Public Works, In preparation for any snowfall you are to remove all vehicles, trash cans, and portable basketball hoops from the roadway, so that roads can be plowed efficiently.”

If you have any questions or issues you may contact Stafford Township Public Works at 609-597-1000 ext. 8556 or visit their website at https://www.staffordnj.gov/197/Public-Works. Do not call the police department for non-emergency snow-related inquiries, only if you are in need of police department assistance.
