JACKSON, NJ – The COVID-19 pandemic brought the return of the drive-through safari experience at Six Flags Great Adventure and for 2022 at least, it looks like it will continue.
The drive-through safari was closed in favor of the park’s internal tours, but the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing forced Six Flags to revert back to private vehicle access.
In March, the Safari will open Saturday and Sunday, March 19th and 20th, then daily starting on March 26th.
The theme park reopens for 2022 on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd. Spring Break hours will apply from April 9th through the 24th, 9 am to 4 pm daily.
Great Adventure will open for daily operations on May 27th for the summer 2022 season.
