Two Shot and Killed in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Homicide Branch of the DC Metro Police Department is investigating a homicide that left two men dead on Monday, March 14th on the 700 Block of 13th Street in Southeast D.C.

A report of a possible shooting came in at 3:21pm, and the First District responded to the address.

According to investigators, “Upon arrival, the members located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and discovered one of the victims displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The second victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.”

22 year-old Antoine Jenkins, of Capital Heights, Maryland, and 62 year-old Antwan Brown, of Southeast, DC. were named as the victims.
