Greenwich Wendy’s Manager Robbed at Gunpoint While Closing

GREENWICH, CT – The manager of a Greenwich Wendy’s restaurant was robbed at gunpoint while closing the restaurant early Monday morning.

The Greenwich police department reported shortly before 2:00 am, two males dressed in black hoodies with masks entered a Wendy’s restaurant on W Putnam Avenue while employees were closing for the night.

“One subject brandished a firearm and demanded cash from the manager. At which time an undisclosed amount of cash was given to both subjects,” the department said. “No one was injured.The subjects then fled the area. Employees described the subjects as two black males unknown age wearing all black clothing. No vehicle description at this time.”
