Debt Collector Shot at in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A debt collector who showed up at a residence in Glen Burnie was shot at by the man who owed him money on Sunday, police have reported.

49-year-old Labrielle V. Holloway, Sr. pulled a gun on a man knocking on his door to collect a debt.

According to police, at approximately 8:00 a.m., officers were dispatched for a report of an armed subject in the 300 block of Wellham Court in Glen Burnie.

“The adult male victim reported he was attempting to collect payment from the suspect at the suspect’s residence. During the interaction, the suspect exited his home, wielding a handgun, and fired one shot toward the victim, striking the ground,” police said. “Officers arrived and apprehended the suspect. A search warrant was completed on the home and a Davis Industries P32 handgun was located.”

The suspect is prohibited from possessing firearms and was charged accordingly.
