34 Year-Old Man Shot And Killed in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police is investigating a shooting that left a 34 year-old man dead on Tuesday night. This incident happened in Northeast D.C. on the 3600 block of Jay Street.

According to police, “At approximately 10:29 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim suffering from from an apparent gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.”

 34 year-old Shelton Robinson of Forestville, Maryland was identified as the victim.
