WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place Saturday afternoon. This incident took place on the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue in Southeast, D.C.. Detectives from the Sixth District are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect
Police say, “At approximately 5:00 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded property. The suspect took property from a display case then fled the scene.”
A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect.
