Police searching for man wanted for assault and robbery at Atlantic City Casino

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – police in Atlantic City are attempting to identify a suspect who stole $200 in cash from a patron at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. According to police, the man followed the victim into the restroom and struck the victim in the head before robbing him and fleeing the scene.

According to a statement released by the New Jersey State Police, on Sunday, August 21, at approximately 10:22 p.m., the male suspect forcefully took a wallet containing $200 cash from a patron after striking the victim in the head in a Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino restroom before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6′ tall, medium build with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and a black ‘Grogu’ hat.
